LIVONIA, Mich. – Compliance serves as a foundational pillar in the progress and future offerings of RevSpring. As a result, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Horwitz as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, Horwitz is responsible for managing the company’s legal services and compliance functions including leading the company’s compliance and ethics program, which encompasses all regulatory requirements and other recognized compliance program elements.

Horwitz brings a wealth of experience specific to the financial services industry. Prior to joining RevSpring, Horwitz was a partner at Dykema Gossett, a national law firm, where he practiced and specialized in debt collection issues. He represented and counseled banks, debt buyers, collection agencies, and law firms on litigation, regulatory, and compliance issues arising under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Previously, Horwitz also served in the General Counsel’s office at Asset Acceptance Capital Corp.

“Rob is an asset to RevSpring’s executive team, especially as we maintain our leadership in providing compliant and secure communication and payment solutions to the financial services space,” said John Carson, RevSpring’s chief financial officer. “Rob is a thought leader on emerging and existing issues facing the debt collection industry and has deep knowledge of building and maintaining an effective compliance management system. We are honored to have him join the RevSpring family.”
