American InfoSource LP (AIS), a diversified, global financial services firm based in Houston, today announced the hiring of two industry veterans: Kwang Thomas Choi joins as Director of Business Development and Jody Jimerson as Director of Sales.

Mr. Choi comes to AIS with more than 15 years of experience in the asset recovery and management industry.  He has served with distinction in several areas including operations, deal administration, sales and origination, and client relationships. After joining Bear Stearns in February 1997, he worked through the merger with J.P. Morgan until 2009, holding titles of Managing Director Principal and Executive Director. He was later appointed as Vice President of Portfolio Acquisitions at Portfolio Recovery Associates, Inc., before serving as President and Founding Partner of InSolve Capital LLC. At AIS, he will lead the development of new product lines such as DS3 and employ best-in-class strategies for delivering innovative solutions to AIS’s client base.

Mr. Jimerson’s background in sales and sales management combined with his 25 years of experience in the industry will be a tremendous addition to the AIS team. He has excelled in variety of roles with iconic organizations like LexisNexis, Banko and B-Line. In his new role, he will be primarily responsible for driving revenue growth from data servicing solutions and expanding AIS’s support of debt buyers with innovative portfolio evaluation services. He has extensive knowledge in various industry-related areas including credit reporting, data providers and bankruptcy solution providers.
