BillingTree, one of the nation’s leading on-demand payment processors, is holding a webinar on Wednesday 25th July to examine the full benefits of Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment, and why utilities perhaps aren’t yet making the most of this payment technology.

According to a June 2012 Aite report, 75% of billers have no plans to make ebills the default option when consumers enroll to pay bills online. At the same time, only 12% offer mobile text alerts when a bill is due and only 27% offer a mobile-optimized Website to accept regular bill payment and/or present bills.

The webinar will be held in conjunction with accounting services company Bill Trust, who will highlight how a full service EBPP solution can automate and create an easy to use web-based billing and payment processing system that initiates exact electronic replicas of paper bills delivered as an e-mail attachment.
