WEST MONROE, La. – Coast Professional, Inc. (Coast) presented a check for $4,870 to the Louisiana 4-H Foundation (4-H) at Coast’s West Monroe office on 06/07/2017. Coast’s donation is a result of the company’s dress down for charity program in which employees donate $20 or more for the option to wear jeans and business casual attire for the month. This donation includes the employee contributions from Coast’s West Monroe, LA office and the company match of up to $1,000.

The employees of Coast selected 4-H to be the recipient of the charity dress down program for the months of April and May as a result of the impact that 4-H has in the local area. The employees vote bimonthly for the charity that will receive the donations raised through the dress down program for the upcoming period.

All proceeds from the event will benefit local children and help support 4-H’s mission of engaging youth to reach their fullest potential while advancing the field of youth development. As the nation’s largest youth development organization, 4-H grows confident young people who are empowered for life today and prepared for a career tomorrow.

“When the Board of Directors created the Dress Down for Charity program, organizations like 4-H came to mind,” stated Roxanne Baker, President of Coast. She continued, “The program was created to make a positive impact within the local community and further reinforce the value of charity throughout our organization. The Louisiana 4-H Foundation has made a significant impact on the area’s future leaders and inspires qualities in our children that are the basis for success. Coast is honored to be able to provide this donation to the Louisiana 4-H Foundation.”
