Mann Bracken, one of the country?s largest collection law firms, has extended its footprint into Texas, effective August 1, 2006. In making this addition to state coverage Mann Bracken now services nine states and jurisdictions covering 23% of the US population. While traditionally, Texas has been considered a hard state to succeed in for collection law firms. Mann Bracken feels its exceptional approach to collection law will provide creditors a valuable collection opportunity. This business model has already been successful in previously hard to collect states North Carolina and South Carolina.

The Mann Bracken office will be located in Dallas where managing attorney Steve Strong brings 19 years experience to the challenge of improving creditor?s results in the Lone Star state. Previous to Mann Bracken, Steve operated his own law firm. Through this, he gained extensive knowledge and experience in courts throughout the state that Mann Bracken feels when combined with Mann Bracken?s formidable tools will provide quantifiable success.

?We said from the beginning if we found the right attorney to manage the office, we felt we could provide a refreshing alternative,? said Ed Reilly, VP Legal Services for Mann Bracken. ?That we have accomplished in bringing Steve Strong on board. Steve brings the experience and understanding we are looking for in a state with 254 counties and almost 25 million people.?

Mann Bracken/Texas will operate in the same hub and spoke configuration as the other three Mann Bracken satellite offices located in Washington, D.C., Charlotte, NC and Nashville, TN. Many of the functions associated with collections are handled by the headquarters in Atlanta.

Each office is built with point to point system connections and undergo uniform training, allowing the offices to work seamlessly together and achieve an efficient compliant collection environment.

?We feel very strongly that our model for expanding into other states serves us well,? states James Branton, CCO and partner at Mann Bracken. ? Our brick and mortar presence allows us to provide a service and relationship with the courts that firms trying to operate without a presence or through of counsel relationships just can?t provide. When we move into a state it is all in and for the long haul.?

With the addition of the Dallas office, Mann Bracken is now collecting in 9 states. Besides Texas, the other states are Georgia, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina and the District of Columbia.
