MasterFiles formally announced last week the addition of Mr. Alex Povoli to its ever growing national accounts team.  As part of the company’s sales/service dual goals of “high quality talent + personal customer touch ”, MasterFiles continues to seek out and bring on board personnel who have proven track records in solutions-selling across different segments of the collections industry.

The company will immediately begin to utilize Mr. Povoli’s capabilities as an individual producer, with a longer range plan of leveraging his strengths within call center management.

Said Ike Morton, president of MasterFiles, “Our mid to long term strategy is to have a fairly large call center operation which will be headed up by Alex.  In the meantime, we feel he has unique talents to offer the company within outside sales and other business development.  Already, Alex has brought several good ideas to the table.”

Prior to MasterFiles, Mr. Povoli worked in national sales for LST Financial, a provider of credit card and check processing solutions.  Other significant experience includes Manager of House Accounts at Accurint / Lexis, where he was directly responsible for 1,500 customers.  He also spent 7-1/2 years at UPS, first as a Call Center Manager supervising 82 employees, and later as  Sales Manager within National Accounts (specializing in international service).  Mr. Povoli served in the U.S. Army for 8-1/2 years, retiring with the rank of Captain.  He has a B.A. from Franklin University, and has completed work toward his M.B.A. at Ashland University.

MasterFiles provides skiptracing databases that are used by some of the biggest banks, credit unions, healthcare companies, and third party collection firms – as well as leading financial institutions within consumer credit, bankcard, and auto finance.
