Supply of credit card-backed bonds in the U.S. asset-backed securities market will likely decline further as consolidation of the credit card industry gathers momentum, analysts said on Thursday.


“The theme in the credit card sector has been consolidation,” said Jeffrey Salmon, analyst at Barclays Capital.
