TransUnion’s
chief executive officer (CEO) and president, Harry Gambill, will begin serving in a new capacity with the company as vice chairman of its board of directors. Siddharth N. "Bobby" Mehta will assume the role of TransUnion’s new CEO and president.

"Under Harry’s leadership for the past sixteen years, TransUnion has grown from a regional credit bureau to a billion dollar global information solutions provider," said Penny Pritzker, chairwoman of TransUnion’s board of directors. "TransUnion’s expanding global footprint, successes in numerous new vertical markets along with building one of the most talented leadership teams in the industry are true testaments to the extraordinary job Harry has done at the helm of this company. We are grateful to have his continued leadership skills in this new capacity on our Board."

Mr. Gambill will be actively engaged in the company’s operations to ensure a smooth transition to Mr. Mehta and to provide ongoing consulting to the company’s leadership. Former CEO of HSBC North America and former chairman and CEO of HSBC Finance Corporation, Mehta brings more than 20 years of financial experience to TransUnion. Prior to HSBC, Mehta served as senior vice president at The Boston Consulting Group where he developed retail, insurance and investment strategies for a variety of financial service clients. He also served as vice president of Citicorp’s information business division. Mehta holds a bachelor of arts in economics from the London School of Economics and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
