D&B, the leading provider of global business information, tools and insight, today announced the launch of DNBi, an interactive, web-based subscription service designed to give customers unprecedented access to D&B’s global database of more than 100 million businesses.

DNBi enhances customers’ risk management experience through its fully-customizable, web-based interface that enables customers to decide what they see and how they see it, based on the information most critical to them. Through their DNBi subscription, customers can get as much information as they need at a predictable cost. And for the first time, customers are offered real-time access to D&B’s global B2B database.

“Our customers have told us they need better solutions to address the increasingly complex and challenging business decisioning and credit management process they face every day,” said Jim Burke, Leader, U.S. Risk Management Solutions. “DNBi provides that, and more, with a flexible, user-friendly interface that allows companies to continuously track their decisions in real-time and proactively manage their portfolios.”

D&B intends to expand the content and functionality of DNBi over time by leveraging the web-based technology it acquired with the purchase of software developer LiveCapital in July 2005.

“As we continue to innovate and invest in our DUNSRight™ quality process, customers will rely on us to manage more of their internal credit function,” said Steve Alesio, chairman and CEO of D&B. “By providing this effective and efficient solution for our customers, we expect DNBi to continue to drive growth in our Risk Management Solutions, enabling us to create more value for shareholders.”
