ASSET Inc. announced today that Hari Mahadevan has joined ASSET as Director, Quality Assurance.  Hari brings over 20 years of professional expertise and knowledge in the field of Quality Assurance, Training, Total Quality Management, Six Sigma Methodologies, ISO Certifications and Auditing.
 
The role will include responsibility for ASSET’s global quality management initiatives.  ASSET was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification in February 2005, and is the only collection processing firm in Canada with this designation. The prestigious ISO certification is based on the implementation of a specific quality management system that covers all business aspects from design concept to marketing, manufacturing and quality. The system includes all processes from contract acceptance through to service delivery.  ASSET continues to deliver to the standard and plans on enhancing quality initiatives under Hari’s leadership.

Hari is an Engineering professional and has both Mechanical and Industrial Engineering designations.  He also holds a Bachelors Degree in Science, a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, and an MBA.  He is a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 (QMS), 14001 (EMS), 18001(OHSAS) and 27001 (ISMS) and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.  Hari holds all the three auditing certifications from American Society of Quality ASQ-CQA, ASQ-CHA, and ASQ-CBA. He is also a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) from OACETT.  Prior to joining ASSET, Mr. Mahadevan held various quality management positions at leading global organizations including, CVSM-Novartis, Silliker Inc, Dubai Municipality, Pan Gulf, Bahrain Aluminum Extrusion and Lucas TVS.
