Diners Club International, a leading charge card operator in South Africa, has signed a CredITMentor software services contract with PIC Solutions.

Diners Club International membership offers exclusive benefits and a certain degree of status. Businessmen and women attracted to the benefits of Diners Club, use the card to pay for meals, travel and other daily transactions. Owned locally by Standard Bank and internationally by Citibank, Diners Club South Africa is one of the top franchises amongst the 158 Diners Club franchises around the world.

The CredITMentor Service enables Diners Club International to ‘reserve’ a specified number of systems support hours, under a specified contract period. Diners Club International can then make use of the support when it is most required. This allows for the optimum allocation of specialist PIC Solutions resources for the development and implementation of credit and customer relationship management systems.

“Diners Club International is focused on maintaining our status as a leading charge card operator and we strive to provide our clients with an innovative product offering. We selected PIC Solutions for their CredITMentor contract as it provides us with international credit and ICT experience, which we plan to utilise for our on-going projects. PIC Solutions ICT team will provide support and best practice advice on our processing platform,” says Romalan Pillay, Head of Diners Credit at Diners Club.

Mike Crawley, Director of Software Services at PIC Solutions, adds, “Our software team have successfully worked on a number of ICT retainer assignments and they have gained a key understanding of these diverse industries. This CredITMentor relationship will ensure that Diners Club has access to our experienced ICT resources as and when they need it.”
