DirectoryNET’s ID Plus VOICE® directory assistance service has been named one of the Top 100 Technology Products for 2005 by Collection Advisor magazine. This is the first year the magazine bestowed an honor of this kind on products and services in the collections industry, and was a highlight of this week’s CAT Expo, an educational forum for the collections profession sponsored by the magazine.

“All of the companies honored as one of the Top 100 Collection Technology Products represent not only market leaders, but smaller, niche companies who present true innovation and insight within the industry,” said T. Allen Rose, editor/publisher, Collection Advisor. “On behalf of the magazine, we are very pleased to bestow this honor on these very worthy companies.”

ID Plus VOICE was designated as a Top 100 Collection Technology product in the Skip Tracing category. This directory assistance service offers collection industry customers immediate access to the most current telephone company supplied data. Operators have the highest service levels in the industry when it comes to average speed of answer, agent quality and inquiry fulfillment.

“Our directory assistance operators are carefully trained to meet the specialized needs of the collections industry,” said Maria C. Taylor, president and COO, DirectoryNET, LLC. “We are honored to have ID Plus VOICE recognized by the industry in this way.”

The Top 100 Collection Technology products are spread across 13 categories, including Commercial, Small Office, Mid-Range and High-End Collection Software; Scoring; Legal; Medical; Banking; Mailing Services; Electronic Payment; Skip Tracing; Predictive Dialers; and Interactive Voice Response. The comprehensive list will be featured in the magazine’s January/February 2006 issue, along with a companion story honoring the Top 50 Most Influential Collection Professionals for 2005 — another “first” honor of its kind for the profession.
