A couple of UK-based collection agencies are in the news today with announcements of office expansion and the adding of collection positions to their call centers.


European collection giant Intrum Justitia is creating 40 new collection jobs at its Liverpool, England call center, according to the Liverpool Daily Post. The firm operates in 22 European countries and employs 2,900 people, 250 of which are in the Liverpool office.


Also making news was Direct Legal and Collections (DLC), based in Brackley, England. The Buckingham & Winslow Advertiser reported that the collection agency has opened a new call center in Buckingham and hopes to create 250 collection jobs.
