Laureate Capital LLC, a commercial mortgage banking subsidiary of Branch Banking and Trust Co., today said it has acquired the assets of mortgage banker R.J. Twitty & Co.
R.J. Twitty, based in Tampa, has a loan servicing portfolio of $275 million, a release said.
That gives Laureate Capital its second loan production office in Florida. It already operates an office in Naples. Laureate Capital is among the nation’s 25 largest commercial mortgage banking firms, a release said.
