Carpe Diem Solutions, Inc a Nevada Corporation, a division of OCA Financial Group, Inc. announced today that it has closed on the purchase of over 3 million dollars in second trust deeds being sold by a Nevada Credit Union. Part of the funding was made possible through a line of credit from the selling institution as an investment banking solution. The servicing and collection of the paper will be handled by San Diego-based Henderson Goldberg & Clarke, Inc. (HGC). HGC is a member of OCA Financial Group—an integrated company that purchases, services, resells and secures distressed and performing debt, including, but not limited to, real estate secured credit card receivables, commercial receivables, mortgage deficiencies and all types of bankruptcy debt.

The OCA Financial Group, (OCA) privately owned by management, is a leading purchaser of private charge-off second mortgage portfolios in the United States, with a market capitalization of their assets over $36 million.

Recently, the company added its 6th portfolio of loans with an aggregate totaling over $3 Million in acquisitions for the year 2003. The company is in the process of securing investment capital to reach their aggressive acquisitions targets for 2003, which includes the acquisition of over 40 Million in real estate secured purchases for the year. ?Our company has the ability to rapidly expand the buying and servicing of charge off and non-performing loans?, Henderson said. “The Nevada pool was very fresh paper?not even to the charge off status,” he said.

Entering the pool purchasing business in May of 2000, HGC has strengthened its company through the diversification of its cash flow. In real estate collections, the amount of collection effort is very focused as the new files immediately after purchasing or assignment for servicing of a loan pool. The increased level of collection efforts at the beginning of the relationship with the debtor helps to create a profitable relationship over the long-term. After the initial collection efforts on a new loan pool, collection agents focus their efforts with the commercial arm of HGC. This keeps the collectors busy, and provides for consistent healthy cash flows for the organization.

HGC can be found on the Internet at www.hgc-collections.com as a member of OCA group International at www.ocafinancial.com with affiliation to www.etdtrader.com.
