EZCORP®, Inc. announced that its EZMONEY® Loan Services stores will begin assisting customers in building their credit by offering to report their signature loan payments to PRBC®, a national consumer reporting agency.

Traditional credit bureaus do not track or score payments of signature loans such as those offered by EZMONEY Loan Services. Customers may now elect to have their loan payment history reported to PRBC. Customers may also use the PRBC website to enter other bill payments they have made over the past three years to create a Bill Payment Score(SM) (BPS). The BPS can be used to supplement a traditional credit report and score, or be used in the absence of such a score to gain a more complete and accurate assessment of a customer’s creditworthiness. Neither EZCORP nor PRBC charge the customer a fee to enroll or to view their PRBC data.

Commenting on the program, Joe Rotunda, EZCORP’s President and CEO, stated, “We are excited about the opportunity to better serve our customers. This service may help them establish, or improve their credit.”

EZCORP meets the short-term cash needs of the cash and credit constrained consumer by offering convenient, non-recourse loans collateralized by tangible personal property, commonly known as pawn loans, and short-term non- collateralized loans, often referred to as payday or signature loans. In addition, the Company provides fee-based credit services for customers seeking loans. The Company also sells merchandise, primarily collateral forfeited from its pawn lending operations, to consumers looking for good value. As of September 30, 2005, the Company operated 234 EZMONEY stores and 280 EZPAWN stores.

PRBC, a national credit bureau with a community economic development mission, is supported with a grant from the Ford Foundation and by Tier I Data Subscribers that include Citimortgage, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. PRBC is guided by an Advisory Board and a Technical Steering Committee that includes consumer advocates, educators, faith-based leaders, and industry professionals. PRBC’s service is powered and secured by IBM, and can be accessed at www.PRBC.com.
