Progressive Financial Services, Inc., a major collection agency celebrates ten years of dramatic growth.


?We started with five people,? says Wesley Hull, President. ?We wanted to address a need that was missing in the industry. We wanted an agency that was dedicated to providing better service to our clients, through better treatment of our employees.? This concept has been very successful for Progressive, which has grown to include three offices ? a Swarthmore, Pennsylvania office, a large operation center in Tempe, Arizona and a new operation center located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.


?Progressive?s corporate motto is Mediation, not Confrontation,? explains Lou Valerio, CEO, ?which is fundamental in training of employees, securing major contracts and most importantly, keeping our customers satisfied.?


Progressive has three divisions. 1) Educational: focuses on educational debt collection and boasts such clients as the U.S. Department of Education, guarantor agencies, colleges and universities, and state educational institutions. 2) Government: is dedicated to government debt collection; clients include state, county and municipality debt collection and ranges from taxes child support, court fines or parking tickets. 3) Financial: the focal point of this division is financial collections. Progressive also does some work in the medical and communications area.
