Talgentra, a specialist in customer management, billing and revenue collection systems, today announced a partnership with INFORMA Unternehmungsberatung GmbH, a German-based company specialising in credit scoring, consulting and data management solutions in the financial services, banking, telecommunication and retail sectors.

The partnership facilitates a complete service in managing debt. INFORMA has, until now, concentrated on helping clients evaluate the financial situation of their prospective customers; while Talgentra’s flagship product, Tallyman, helps minimise bad debt by managing existing customers already in arrears.

The two companies share many customers and prospects throughout Europe where deregulation, changing lending and credit practices as well as the admission of new countries into the EU are contributing factors to the increase in consumer debt. Consequently companies are now actively looking for systems and techniques that keep revenue recovery rates high and minimise their risk levels. Companies already using Tallyman report a complete return on their investment within 12 months.

Dr. Paul Triggs, sales director of INFORMA, said: “Talgentra’s Tallyman system is being used by blue chip companies around the world to manage customers with outstanding debt. Together we will be able to provide European companies with a proven, best practice system to maximise revenues.”

Initially INFORMA will concentrate on selling Tallyman, Talgentra’s Customer Revenue Management system in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland to organisations which extend consumer credit ? such as those in the financial services, banking, telecommunication and retail sectors. By the same token Talgentra will market and sell INFORMA?s scoring, consulting and data management solutions in the UK and mainland Europe.

Hans Hermann, director of channels for Talgentra, said: “Talgentra and INFORMA’s offerings are complementary. INFORMA are experts in credit scoring and have extensive market share in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Their experience in credit management and their strong consultancy practice will help fuel Talgentra’s growth in Central Europe.”

Talgentra and INFORMA will be running a number of workshops in Germany and the UK during 2006 including:

21-22 March Credit Scoring Seminar – Mainz
24-26 April Customer Risk 2006 Conference ? Berlin
11 May Collections RoadShow, Hannover
