About $68-million in 195,000 unpaid fines within Toronto’s boundaries have been turned over to three collection agencies, the city announced yesterday.


This marks the first time since Toronto took over responsibility for provincial court services in 2002 that collection agencies have been called in to recover late payments (anything over 30 days).
