The list, a joint project of Law and Politics Magazine and Cincinnati Magazine, surveyed more than 33,000 attorneys across Ohio asking them to vote for the best lawyers in the state.


Robert Weltman is the senior partner of the firm and concentrates in complex collections. Mr. Weltman?s experience in the area of creditors? rights has earned him local, state and national prominence. Most recently he was named the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year for the Service Industry Category in Northeast Ohio. Mr. Weltman is a member of the Cuyahoga, Cleveland, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. He is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the US District Court (Northern District of OH) and the US Supreme Court. Mr. Weltman is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association (Municipal Court Committee), National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys, Northern Ohio Credit Association and Menorah Federal Credit Union.


Alan Weinberg is the managing partner of the firm. Mr. Weinberg is a member of the Cleveland and Ohio State Bar Associations. He is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the US District Court (Northern District of OH) and the US Supreme Court. Mr. Weinberg is certified as a creditors? rights specialist by the American Board of Certification. Mr. Weinberg is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association (Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section), Ohio State Bar Association, Commercial Law League of America and Northern Ohio Credit Association. He is also the educational chairman of the Ohio Creditors Attorney Association and board member of Care Alliance.


Larry Rothenberg is the partner managing the real estate and foreclosure department. Mr. Rothenberg is a member of the Cuyahoga, Cleveland and Ohio State Bar Associations. He is licensed in Ohio and is admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals and the US District Court (Northern District of OH). Mr. Rothenberg is certified as a creditors? rights specialist by the American Board of Certification. He is the chairman of the Foreclosure Procedures Committee of the Cleveland Bar Association, and is a member of American Foreclosure Network and National Foreclosure Professionals. Mr. Rothenberg also has served as chairman of the Real Estate Sections of both the Cleveland and Cuyahoga County Bar Associations, and as president of the Mortgage Servicing Society of Northeast Ohio.


Rosemary Taft-Milby is the partner managing the litigation and defense department. She is licensed in Ohio and Kentucky, and is admitted to practice before the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, the US District Court (Northern District of OH), the US District Court (Eastern District of KY) and the US Supreme Court. Ms. Taft-Milby is certified as a creditors? rights specialist by the American Board of Certification. She is one of only eight women in America to be so certified. Ms. Taft-Milby is a member of the Cleveland Bar Association (Commission of Women in the Law), Ohio State Bar Association (Women in the Profession, Litigation), American Bar Association, Ohio Women?s Bar Association and Association of Trial Lawyers of America.
