D&B Receivable Management Services (D&B RMS) reports strong revenue growth for both the second quarter, 2002 and six-month period ending June 30, 2002. Revenue for the second quarter increased by 17%, while for the six-month period ending June 30, 2002 revenue increased to $76.5 million, 23% higher than prior year. EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) increased at a similar rate as revenue for the six-month period ending June 30, 2002.

A key factor driving the results was growth in each major product line and strength in multiple industry segments including insurance, transportation, technology, manufacturing and wholesaling, offsetting softness in telecommunications.

“Our diversified product line and customer base was the key to continued strong growth in the first half of 2002,” said David Huebner, president and CEO, D&B Receivable Management Services. “We are further enhancing our capabilities with the rollout of web enabling technology that will provide customers with seamless access, increased recoveries and customized reports via the web.”

As recently highlighted at the National Association of Credit Managers (NACM) annual conference, the CashNow program is ramping up to help drive future revenue growth according to Forrest Old, executive vice president, D&B RMS. “We are receiving positive interest in the innovative CashNow receivable purchase program. CashNow provides customers with immediate funding on receivables as D&B RMS services these same accounts.”
