The Affiliated Group (TAG) is proud to announce it has been awarded a contract from the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP).

The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) is a tri-service agency of the Department of Defense specializing in pathology consultation, education and research. Under terms of the contract, TAG will provide third-party collection services to AFIP beginning on or about May 1, 2006.

To be selected for the contract, TAG had to demonstrate to AFIP that it had relevant past experience, a sound approach to implementation and to performing the necessary work, adequate staffing, and qualified key personnel, along with competitive pricing. Selection by AFIP indicates TAG?s overall high level of quality of service available to government and private sector creditors alike.

?We are honored to be awarded the AFIP contract,? stated Mark Neeb, President and CEO of TAG. “This award represents our ongoing commitment to help government entities better serve the public and lower costs through generating additional revenue for our clients.”

?This contract is another example of a continuing trend of government entities to outsource the collection of delinquent receivables at all levels,? stated Nick Bernardo, principal consultant at Net Gain Marketing (www.netgain4results.com), a firm that helps collection agencies compete more efficiently and effectively for government contracts.

Founded in 1923, The Affiliated Group is a full service accounts receivable provider dedicated to maximizing our clients’ revenues and profits. The Affiliated Group is an approved GSA vendor serving both public and private sector clients with headquarters in Rochester, Minnesota.
