TelePlus Enterprises, Inc., announced today its fully-owned subsidiary, TelePlus Wireless, Corp. has selected PeopleSupport, Inc., a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider that offers customer management, transcription and captioning, accounts receivable management and additional BPO services from its centers in the Philippines, Costa Rica and United States, as its strategic provider of customer management support.


Prior to the purchase of certain assets of Liberty Wireless by TelePlus from InPhonics Inc., PeopleSupport provided live agent support to Liberty Wireless. The new agreement for 3 years will enhance several of the services PeopleSupport provides to TelePlus’ Liberty Wireless customers. These expanded services include live agent support to assist Liberty Wireless customers with billing inquiries, technical support, and confirming order status. PeopleSupport’s highly trained agents will also up-sell additional value-added services to customers and focus on client retention. PeopleSupport will support TelePlus with a dedicated and trained team to provide high-quality service to customers.



“Under the new agreement, PeopleSupport will reduce response time to provide a superior experience to our customers, and also lower call abandon rates” said Kelly McLaren, President of TelePlus. “We will achieve these new service levels while reducing the monthly fixed cost components by approximately 20%. In addition, TelePlus is deploying new customer retention strategies by utilizing PeopleSupport’s skilled customer care agents to proactively reach out to Liberty Wireless customers to up-sell additional services” added McLaren.
