The SSI Group, Inc. (SSI) and Ontario Systems LLC announce the integration of their healthcare revenue cycle technologies by making ClickON® s Claims Status information available as an optional module in Ontario Systems’ Artiva Healthcare product. SSI will provide a standard Ontario Systems’ interface of claim status and denial information. By combining the power of both technologies, healthcare providers will know when and why a claim rejection is occurring. The Artiva Healthcare system automatically will trigger the most appropriate action to allow the provider to capture revenue efficiently.

Jewish Hospital and St. Mary’s Healthcare in Louisville, KY, will be the first to implement the integrated system. JHSMH uses SSI’s ClickON products and is installing the Artiva Healthcare product. "The combined technologies will allow our team to more efficiently manage denials to accelerate the revenue cycle, driving down our AR days and increasing cash collections," said Paul Sinkhorn, director of revenue cycle for JHSMH, Inc.

Both companies serve many healthcare providers. The integrated technology will help customers better manage denials and exceptions, decrease write-offs and accelerate the revenue cycle.

"We expect our mutual customers will benefit from the power of automation," said Steve Beard, Ontario Systems’ vice president of strategic relations. "By combining the instant feedback of SSI’s claims status information with the automated workflow of the Artiva Healthcare product, healthcare providers will realize significant acceleration in their revenue cycle."

"Healthcare providers need to be constantly searching for new ways to better manage denials and accelerate the revenue cycle," said Ray Payne, SSI’s vice president for marketing. "The integration of this technology will allow them to do this, generating much needed cash."
