PeopleSupport, Inc., a leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider that offers customer management, transcription, captioning, accounts receivable management and additional BPO services, recently announced that it is expanding its operations to provide customer management services in Spanish to a new Fortune 500 client.


PeopleSupport will provide customer management services in English from its existing world-class facilities in the Philippines, and in Spanish from new facilities in Costa Rica. It plans to build a state-of-the-art BPO facility in San Jose, Costa Rica, and use its proven service delivery platform to expand its operations to this new geography. The new facilities will be custom built to initially service the company’s new financial services clients. These are approximately 34,000 square feet and can support up to 500 seats.


“This new client relationship for PeopleSupport will enable the company to expand its operations to Costa Rica, where we see excellent potential to offer Spanish and bilingual BPO services,” said Lance Rosenz Weig, PeopleSupport’s chairman and chief executive officer.
