ACH Direct, Inc., a leading technology provider of Automated Clearing House (ACH), credit card and debit card transaction processing and risk management services, today announced across-the-board record growth for First Quarter 2006, versus the same period in 2005.

“Based on our transaction volumes last year, we anticipated greater demand for our payment processing services this year. Our first quarter performance exceeded those expectations. Most notably, our risk management services spiked with a 68% increase. We’re pleased that our customers recognize the benefits of employing risk management tools to help mitigate losses,” said Jeff Thorness, President and CEO of ACH Direct.

“We enjoyed a 41% increase in ACH volume, a traditional area of strength, as well as a 32% increase in credit card transactions processed. This phenomenal growth illustrates that more merchants are taking advantage of the convenience of a payment processor that offers a complete spectrum of services, making multiple processor relationships unnecessary,” explained Thorness.
