AT&T Inc. and Citigroup Inc. today announced the long-term extension of the relationship through which the AT&T licensing arm, AT&T Knowledge Ventures, licenses the AT&T brand to Citi® for general purpose consumer credit cards. The new deal extends the availability of the AT&T Universal Platinum Card and AT&T Universal Rewards Card offers and continues to give cardholders calling benefits, loyalty programs and cell phone insurance. AT&T Universal Rewards Card holders also have access to great rewards through the ThankYouSM Network, the free rewards program founded by Citigroup.

“Since 1998, Citi and AT&T have provided great benefits for our loyal AT&T Universal Cards customers. We’re pleased to be able to continue this successful program, and we see great long-term opportunities for our customers through our continued relationship,” said Raja Rajamannar, executive vice president, Citi Cards.

“We’re excited about extending the relationship with Citi for the AT&T Universal Card,” said Abha Divine, AT&T Knowledge Ventures-president and chief executive officer. “Our customers continue to embrace the benefits of the AT&T Universal Card. We’re looking forward to the Universal Card team delivering further savings and rewards to consumers, including some fresh, new offers that will be introduced in the coming year.”
