Jayaram Law Group Secures 100 percent Collection on Behalf of Software Client

Jayaram Law Group (JLG), a business law firm in Chicago with a focus on business-to-business debt collection, recently obtained a 100 percent collection from a large, multinational technology company on behalf of a Chicago-based software consulting company.

JLG’s client, which provides personnel for technology staffing, was owed a substantial sum of money arising from software consultant services rendered for the debtor in 2008 and 2009. Though the debt had aged, JLG worked with debtor’s in-house counsel after filing suit to obtain a favorable result on behalf of its client.

“My approach is about being firm yet flexible,” says Vivek Jayaram, head of the Jayaram Law Group. “I want to retrieve the money due to my client, but I also want to maintain the business relationship, which I believe is a crucial role for a business collections attorney. If monies can be collected and the business relationship salvaged without going into litigation, then everyone wins.”
