Missouri, Kansas and 45 other states are parties to an agreement with Western Union Financial Services Inc. in which the company will do more to educate its employees and consumers about wire transfer fraud.


The Denver-based company, a division of First Data Corp., will pay $8 million in the next five years for a consumer-education program aimed at senior citizens, Western Union spokesman Victor Chayet said Tuesday.
