Now in its fourth year, EastPay has expanded its Operations Technology Conference by a half-day to add even more value to this popular payments industry event. The conference will take place September 15 – 16, 2008 at the Embassy Suites Hotel Resort and Conference Center in Concord, NC. Early registration discounts end August 19.

Sponsored by Fiserv, Electronic Payments Network, Treasury Software, Affirmative Technologies, and Al Watkins, Attorney at Law, topics will include Mobile Banking, Green Technology, Next Generation Remote Deposit Capture, NACHA’s Advanced Payment Solutions, Targeted BBB Attacks, and Enterprise Risk Management.

Speakers include Austin Adams, retired CIO, JPMorgan Chase; Peter Hohenstein, Senior Vice President, Bank of America; George Throckmorton, Senior Director, Payment Solutions Technology, NACHA; Jeff Lewis, President, The Azimuth Group; Brian Abele, Senior Payments Strategist, CheckFree; and Pam Easley, Lead Practice Director – Enterprise Risk, RSM McGladrey.

"EastPay’s Operations Technology Conference has gained a reputation as an extraordinary value," said Bill Albert, Senior Vice President and Cashier, First Century Bank, and chair of the conference planning committee. "The speakers are heavy-hitters with national exposure, but you won’t pay national conference prices. This is particularly important in the current environment as financial institutions experience cuts to their education and training budgets."

Registration for the conference is $395 per person for EastPay members through August 19, and $495 per person thereafter. Non-members pay $535 through August 19, and $595 thereafter. Multiple registrant discounts are available to members. To register, or for more information, go to www.eastpay.org or call 1-800-681-4224.
