Softtek announces the selection of Ontario Systems’ Artiva Agency system as the debt collection software for its Nearshore BPO business expansion, Nearshore Receivables Management, Inc.

Having perfected the Near Shore® delivery model for IT outsourcing, Softtek is expanding its BPO service offerings to the debt collection market through the establishment of Nearshore Receivables Management, Inc.

“Our goal is to be the absolute best in executing the nearshore delivery model for accounts receivable management services to the US market,” said Lawrence W. Smith, president and CEO of NRM. “In order to accomplish this goal, our strategy is to employ the best technologies available today. Artiva Agency and Ontario Systems’ integrated telephony system, Guaranteed Contacts and Signature IVR applications were chosen because of the workflow management tools, reporting and analytic capabilities they provide.”

The Artiva Agency’s workflow management tool automates many repetitive tasks, creating operating efficiencies and lowering costs. The workflow tools also give NRM the ability to implement business rules which provide clear work standards, reporting capabilities and allow the agency to operate in compliance with applicable laws and client service level agreements. Softtek is a company with a strong quality focus (CMM Level 5, Six Sigma, and Digitization); therefore analytics allowing the agency to track information such as cost per account is extremely important.

“Receivables management fits perfectly into the Near Shore concept,” says Ricardo Gonzalez, vice president for BPO Services of Softtek. “Value to our clients is delivered via disciplined processes, real time interaction with all constituents and a very competitive rate; definitely a combination that is hard to match.”

The benefits of Softtek’s Near Shore delivery model allow clients to take advantage of a lower cost structure than the U.S. but without the geographic disadvantages of offshore locations, since services are delivered from Mexico. Located in the Central time zone, employees have earned college degrees, are bi-lingual and knowledgeable on consumer credit, since both countries enjoy cultural similarities including credit systems. Combining Softtek’s successful Near Shore delivery model with NRM?s President and CEO Larry Smith’s 20 years of collection experience will allow clients to enjoy strong results at a lower cost. NRM will be headquartered outside of Chicago in Warrenville, Illinois and open the initial collection operation in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

“We believe the Artiva Agency and Guaranteed Contacts systems will assist NRM in succeeding from day one,” said Mike Mullins, vice president of sales for Ontario Systems. “We expect that our technology will help them create a market-leading position.”
