Executive Bio: Bob Deter

Known throughout the consumer debt industry, Bob Deter has been in the financial services industry for over 21 years.  He has been a speaker and round table leader at several of the largest Debt Sales and Collection Industry conferences. 

Prior to recently leaving Hudson & Keyse, Bob held the position as Executive Vice President, Business Development and Acquisitions.  Bob was responsible for expanding acquisition markets and acquiring distressed debt portfolios to support company growth objectives.  While at Hudson & Keyse he successfully expanded acquisition volumes more than ten fold.     

Prior to joining Hudson & Keyse, Bob worked for Discover Card for seventeen years. His career included management of all levels of collection units, training and quality implementation for Discover Financial Services’ National Recovery Center.  Bob also headed Discover’s debt sales department where he managed $12 billion in debt portfolio sales.
