The Sagres Company, an industry leader in accounts receivable management, has announced the promotion of four employees.


Raquel Bibens was promoted to Controller for the company. Ms. Bibens, who has been with Sagres since 1997, was previously Accounting Manager. In her new position, she will be responsible for the financial management of the company including forecasting, budgeting and supervision of the accounting department.


Thomas Hicke was promoted to Information Systems Manager with responsibility for the operational status of the corporate system computer network. In addition to administrative functions, the network system supports a sophisticated call center for the collection department. Mr. Hicke will be upgrading the system as part of the company’s overall expansion plans. He was hired in 1997 as Network Administrator and currently serves as Chair of the Education Committee.


David Raver was promoted to Sales and Acquisitions Representative with responsibility for research, review and direct sales of portfolios. He will also represent Sagres at various industry trade shows and events. Mr. Raver joined the company in 1997 and was previously a Collections Supervisor handling charged off and non-performing accounts.


Warren Ovadia was promoted to Collections Supervisor with responsibility for 10 Collection Representatives. Mr. Ovadia brings his own experience as a Collections Representative to the new position.


Geri Meza was promoted from Administrative Assistant to Client Services Representative. In her new position, Ms. Meza will act as a liaison between Sagres and agencies, handle post-sale services of accounts and follow-up on defective assets. Ms. Meza has been with Sagres since 1999.
