EDINA, MN – For the second consecutive year, leading debt collection and receivables management firm Financial Recovery Services Inc. (FRS, http://www.fin-rec.com) will appear on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500″ and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “Growth 50.” The company is slated to receive both honors in October.

Being a two-time winner of the awards is an impressive feat – one that is nearly unheard of for a mid-sized company that does not outsource any of its work overseas. And FRS would not be where it is today, said company president Brian Bowers, were it not for its workers.

“We rely on the people of FRS to help this company reach its goals,” Bowers stated. “Once again, their hard work and dedication have led to significant recognition for FRS.”

As part of the “Inc. 500″ list, FRS will appear in Inc. Magazine later this year. The 23-year-old Inc. 500 – perhaps the most prestigious indicator of growth by privately held U.S. companies – represents the small and mid- sized U.S. corporations with the strongest growth in net sales over the previous three years. Past recipients have included Microsoft, Oracle, E*Trade, Paychex, and Gateway 2000.

The Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal’s “Growth 50″ list includes companies in the Twin Cities with the highest rate of growth during the three most recent fiscal years, with revenue of at least $1 million for the first of those three years.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Inc. Magazine and the Minneapolis-St. Paul Business Journal a second time,” said Mark Pearson, FRS vice president of business development and marketing. “We are particularly excited that the growth of FRS has been completely organic and employee-driven. The entire FRS team is proud of reaching this milestone.”
