Sumner County (KS) Commissioners have signed a contract with local attorney Martin Peck to represent the Sumner County Sheriff’s Department and Sumner County in recovering fees of juvenile housing expenses from parents and legal guardians of juvenile offenders.

“This is Sumner County’s first attempt to recoup the costs for juvenile offenders,” said Sumner County Sheriff Gerald Gilkey.
