Municipal Services Bureau (MSB) has been retained by the City of Austin (TX) Municipal Court, to provide outsourced collections services for delinquent court fines, fees and parking citations.

MSB was selected as the winning bidder based upon detailed evaluation criteria, involving the best value combination of credentials, capabilities, service and cost. During MSB’s prior four year contractual relationship with the City, the company collected over $15 million in delinquent cases.

On May 3, 2007, The City of Austin Council authorized award & execution of a 24 month service contract with Municipal Services Bureau for the collection of delinquent Municipal Court cases with estimated annual net to general fund revenue of $2,250,000 with two 12-month extension options with a revenue of $2,250,000 per extension option, for a total estimated contract revenue of $9,000,000.
