Circuit City Stores, Inc. today announced that it has extended its credit card agreement with JPMorgan Chase & Co., the financial services company that provides consumer financing and rewards through the Circuit City Rewards and Circuit City Rewards Visa cards. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

"We have had a close working relationship with Chase since their purchase of our private-label card portfolio in 2004, and we’re pleased to extend our agreement," said Bruce H. Besanko, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Circuit City Stores, Inc. "Through this partnership, we can continue to offer our customers creative and flexible financing offers as well as an exciting rewards program. Next year, an upgraded technology platform with Chase and our new retail point-of-sale system will combine to make signing up for one of our Circuit City cards even simpler for our customers and Associates."
