Cape Town, South Africa ? PIC Solutions’ Credit Academy has been selected by Uganda Microfinance Limited (UMU) to deliver comprehensive credit risk training to their personnel.


As the leading Microfinance Institution in Uganda, UMU offers quality financial services to micro-entrepreneurs and the low-income, rural-based segment of the market. UMU was granted a Micro Deposit Taking Institutions (MDI) licence by the Bank of Uganda in June 2005, enabling the organisation to mobilise savings from the public and intermediating the funds.


As part of their on-going commitment of maximising training opportunities, UMU has contracted PIC Solutions, to conduct a series of dedicated credit and risk training seminars to personnel throughout the organisation. Presented by leading experts, these seminars and practical case studies will provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of credit risk management.

Nalyaali, Chief Executive Officer at Uganda Microfinance Limited, comments, “We are focused on improving risk management practices within our organisation and we selected PIC Solutions Credit Academy to deliver comprehensive credit risk training to our personnel.
