Intelligent Banking Solutions announced the signing of a comprehensive licensing and services agreement with Sterling Savings Bank, a Spokane Washington based banking institution with 136 branches in Washington, Idaho, Montana and Oregon, to license the IBS collections and recovery system CARM-Pro.

CARM-Pro is a PC-based, host-interactive system designed to streamline the complex delinquency collection and management process, while allowing bank management to maintain compliance with internal and external policies and procedures relative to the collections and recovery process.

“CARM-Pro was built to allow end user clients the flexibility to configure the system to meet their specific needs and requirements, rather than making the bank adjust its needs to our system,” said Charlie Bowden, IBS senior vice president for sales and marketing. “This has been and continues to be a key element that our prospects and clients point out when they measure the IBS system against other products in the marketplace,” he said.

User friendliness and the strong client support group also rank high in product comparisons, he said.

The bank, a subsidiary of Sterling Financial Corporation, with approximately $6.8 billion in assets, uses the Bisys core banking system as a host processor. This marks the 48th Bisys bank to license the IBS collections and recovery system since IBS and Bisys entered a licensing partnership in April 1998.

Currently, IBS has more than 1,300 individually licensed users of its Collections Management System and Asset Recovery Manager, and its new CARM-Pro system, at more than 300 institutions in 45 states and the District of Columbia.
