Perot Systems Corporation today announced that it has received the internationally recognized Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 Type II assessment for its business process solutions centers in Chennai, India. The achievement further expands Perot Systems’ record of quality and information security certifications for its operations throughout India.

Perot Systems’ Chennai-based business process solutions centers support a diverse range of business processes including medical billing, hospital revenue cycle management, healthcare insurance claims processing, accounts payable/accounts receivables management, procurement services and life and casualty claims processing, among others.

SAS 70 for Service Organizations is an internationally recognized auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. A successful SAS 70 Type II audit report represents that a service organization has been through an in-depth audit of its control activities, which generally include controls over information technology and related processes.

All Perot Systems’ operations in India are now ISO9001:2000 and BS 7799 certified.
