Pinnacle Recovery, Inc. announced last week the appointment of Rich Galloway to Vice President, Government Portfolio.

Galloway will help Pinnacle grow its Government business segment which resolves defaulted Federal student loans as a subcontractor under the U.S. Department of Education (ED), Federal Student Aid (FSA), Private Collection Agency (PCA) contracts.  He will participate in Pinnacle’s leadership team goals to develop and implement strategies designed to win an award in ED/FSA’s next PCA contract competition.

“We feel extremely lucky to have Rich on our management team.  His impact on the future growth of our business will be significant,” commented David Oas, CEO of Pinnacle.

With over 31 years of government contracting experience in ED, Galloway is a welcomed addition to Pinnacle.  During his 10-year tenure as Contracting Officer, and more recently Contracting Officer’s Representative for the ED/FSA PCA contracts, Galloway helped ED more than triple its annual recoveries of defaulted student debt and led efforts to implement progressive procurement practices.  He received awards and official recognition for promoting the innovative use of small businesses, pioneering performance-based contracting initiatives, and modernizing federal procurement.  Galloway and his colleagues received the Vice President’s Hammer Award for championing assistive technology and working with Microsoft to incorporate critical accessibility features into the software leader’s products.

Galloway said, “Throughout my Federal career, I have championed contracting opportunities for small businesses.  So, I am absolutely delighted to have this opportunity to join Pinnacle and be a part of a dynamic and promising small business as it strives for success in Federal contracting opportunities.”

Pinnacle Recovery provides debt collection services in the education and timeshare/vacation ownership industries.
