PR - Campisi Named Executive of the Year in Collections Management

Daria Campisi, owner and partner of Glacial Star Group and ICEware Corp., has been named Cambridge Who’s Who Executive of the Year in collections management. While inclusion in Cambridge Who’s Who Registry is an honor, only two male and two female members in each discipline are named the Cambridge Who’s Who Executive of the Year. The Cambridge Who’s Who selection committee chooses these special honorees based on their accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership and service.

With over 17 years in collections, Campisi has an impressive background in collections management. As the owner and partner of Hauppauge, N.Y.-based Glacial Star Group and ICEware Corp., she provides her expertise in collection, debt scoring, debt selling and debt purchasing while networking and consulting clients to give them comprehensive collection solutions. Campisi helped create a new understanding of success in the collections industry. "We adapted a sales approach to collections and have stellar results because of it," she states. Her company is customer service driven not only for her clients but also for the person in debt. Her motto to her employees is, “You shouldn’t be mean to those people from whom you are collecting.”  

ICEware software allows advisors to easily determine a person’s ability to make a payment – a program that has been praised because it has taken advisors less than one hour to learn. "The software fully integrates with any dialer, clearing house, skip tracing entity, letter vendor and any other service you need," Campisi explains.  

Campisi received her associate’s degree in business and finance from Suffolk County Community College. She is a certified professional telephone collector for the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act from the Association of Credit and Collection Professionals. She is a member of Next Level Administrator, RYZE Administrator and the Long Island Business Network.
