Jerry Hogan, President and CEO of Financial Asset Management Systems, Inc. (FAMS), announced today that Rodney Bowers has joined FAMS’ executive team as Senior Vice President of Information Technology.  Mr. Bowers will report directly to John Kahn, Chief Financial Officer   He will be responsible for directing, planning and managing FAMS’ information technology and systems teams.  As a member of the senior management team he will be accountable for strategic technology planning, network infrastructure, computer operations, data processing, security, telecommunications and office systems.

Bowers most recently served as Senior Director of Data Services for Ceridian and prior to 2002 served as Director of ITC for Deltacom in Atlanta, Georgia.  During his 30 year career he has focused on emerging technologies, engineering and IT organization development, software engineering, systems architecture, data management and network design as well as research and development.  He is a member of itSMF and serves on the customer advisory board of iPASS and on the Industry Advisory Council at Southern Polytechnic State University. 

Bowers has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Southern Polytechnic State University in Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in Electrical Engineering.  He is also ITIL Foundations Certified, itSMF Service Catalog Certified, ITIL Masters Trained-Service Support Certified and Six Sigma Champion Certified.
