Emerging Health Information Technology, an experienced provider of healthcare information management solutions, announced the build out its corporate facilities to include an additional 12,000 square feet of office space at its headquarters in Yonkers, New York. The company currently occupies 59,000 square feet at 3 Odell Plaza, a three-story building in the South Westchester Executive Park.

According to Jack Wolf, president and chief executive officer at Emerging Health, “When we relocated to Yonkers in June, 2004, we optimistically anticipated the need for additional office space and we are delighted that our success has escalated our plans.” The company’s employee growth rate has been between 20 and 25 percent per year since its founding in 2002. Last year, the company expanded the services it provides to existing customers, added new clients and developed new healthcare IT solutions.

“Much of our growth is in response to the tremendous pressure many hospitals are experiencing to meet their healthcare information technology challenges with their limited internal resources. Emerging Health offers a healthcare institution the ability to ensure the success of critical clinical and financial IT projects using our experienced engineers, project managers and support personnel,” said Wolf.

In addition to supporting the entire techology infrastructure of three major hospital facilities and 28 ambulatory sites of Montefiore Medical Center, Emerging Health is now working with Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center on a major software upgrade, implementing an electronic medical record system at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport and providing Morris Heights Health Center in the Bronx with the latest healthcare transaction management services.

“Emerging Health is a company that is in the right place at the right time. We are expanding our Yonkers offices to provide a convenient location for employees from five Manhattan boroughs, all of Westchester County and Southern Connecticut. And because our work is about using information technology to improve patient care, we can offer employees a career that is both lucrative and meaningful,” Wolf concluded. The build out is expected to be completed by July and will add 13 offices, 47 work stations, meeting areas and a large conference theater with state-of-the-art projection and presentation capabilities.
