Ontario Systems announced the recent certification of three project managers. Becky Shafer, Vicki Robinson and Dan Hall each passed the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with the Project Management Institute, the global leader in the creation of project management standards.

Ontario Systems’ project managers are responsible for facilitating the implementation process for all new clients. They work with the client to manage project scope, risk, timelines, and communication throughout the duration of the project. An in-depth project charter also is used to establish expectations for these processes. The charter includes project scope, roles and responsibilities, management approach including change, risk, communication, acceptance, escalation, and a description of project deliverables.

“The certification of these individuals demonstrates our commitment to our clients’ success,” said Brad Chenoweth, Ontario Systems vice president for client services. “This will enhance the conversion and implementation experience for all new Ontario Systems clients.”

The certification requirements include passing a comprehensive exam, completing 35 education hours related to the field and attaining a minimum of 4,500 hours of project management experience. The Project Management Institute includes more than 200,000 members in 125 countries.
