ACA International, the association of credit and collection professionals, will hold its 2005 Credit & Collection Business Academy (CCBA) at the Westin Horton Plaza, San Diego, February 13-16. The three-day seminar is the cornerstone of Campus ACA™, and represents a one-stop opportunity to fulfill multiple curriculum requirements for each of ACA?s professional designations and certificates.


This year?s CCBA agenda boasts something for everyone, with over 24 hours of professional development instruction for people in every area of the industry; from first-party collectors and credit managers to agency owners, collectors, sales managers, and collection supervisors. Sessions include: Healthcare Collections; Professional Telephone Collection Techniques: Collecting for Your Clients; Telephone Collection Techniques for Creditors; Idea Exchange; Top Managers Forum; FDCPA Issues for Owners; and networking sessions for both creditors and collectors.


CCBA 2005 also marks the debut of two new credentialing programs: the Healthcare Collection Specialist (HCS) designation and the Higher Education Collection Specialist (HECS) Web course will be shown at CCBA for the first time.
