Debt collection software maker Jim Hubbard & Associates Inc. is changing its name to Hubbard Systems Inc.

CEO Gregory Jones says the change reflects a broader vision for his firm, which serves law firms, collection agencies and financial institutions.

“Our business is evolving to meet the needs of the collections industry, both in terms of the number of platforms our systems will run on and the capabilities of our software,” Jones says. “We wanted a name that more accurately reflected the breadth of our offerings and that would continue to fit in the coming years.”

The company was founded in Birmingham in 1983 by Jim Hubbard, who acquired the rights to a collections software package developed at an accounting firm where he was a partner. For more information visit www.hubbardsystems.com.
