Greenway Medical Technologies, a leading provider of integrated electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software solutions for physicians’ practices, has announced the release of PrimeARM™, the company’s new accounts receivable (AR) management solution.

PrimeARM handles all aspects of the physician practice billing cycle for practices that are clients of Greenway’s PrimeSuite®, the company’s ambulatory software suite that is based on Microsoft’s .NET architecture and includes integrated EHR, practice management and managed care solutions. Greenway’s PrimeARM team is comprised of experienced billers, electronic data interchange (EDI) specialists and AR managers. The PrimeARM staff has more than 20 years of experience in practice management and billing.

Greenway’s PrimeARM team reviews each patient encounter to ensure valid coding and compliance with correct coding initiative (CCI) edits in an effort to prevent unnecessary rejection by insurance providers. The claims that are approved are posted, created and submitted immediately.

In addition, the PrimeARM team is able to provide daily reviews of EDI claims, insurance claims, statement processing, patient balance follow-up, receipt and charge posting and report generation capabilities. The PrimeARM team follows up on unpaid claims, outstanding claims and patient accounts monthly. The PrimeARM team is also responsible for handling all patient inquiries regarding billing and insurance claims.

“The physician billing cycle is one of the most, if not the most, complicated revenue cycles in American business. In addition, many billing managers struggle just to manage their daily workloads because of the volume of claims,” said Tee Green, President of Greenway Medical Technologies. “Recognizing this, PrimeARM further demonstrates Greenway’s mission to serve as a business partner with our clients in an effort to help them excel with this efficient, affordable solution. We provide a unique opportunity for our physician clients by easing their minds that their billing and collecting will be handled by an experienced, specialized billing staff, freeing up their time to concentrate on providing quality care and patient satisfaction.”
