In an effort to focus more fully on electronic discovery, RLS Legal Solutions has joined its entire records retrieval operation and customer service support with Keais Records Service, Inc. – a premier nationwide litigation support agency, and inventors of Case Management Protocol™, a way of streamlining records retrieval from the inside out.

“For the past 10 years, Keais has been a dominant player on the market,” said Michael Lehane, President of Keais. “We will provide improved technology and order tracking for the RLS customer, which will translate into a faster turnaround time and more usable records.”
“As the legal support business continues to evolve RLS has become a leader in Electronic Data and Document Discovery (EDD) as well as collateral services like litigation specific reprographics, trial presentations and advanced court reporting.

By joining the RLS Records Retrieval Division with a nationwide industry leader in Records Retrieval like Keais, we are able to focus on our technology driven legal solutions and continue to provide the superior level of customer service our customers have come to expect,” says Richard Saldivar, President of RLS.

Keais Records Service was established in 1975 as a small boutique firm, creating the first litigation support company specializing in medical records retrieval. However, in the past ten years, the company has seen record growth – ascending to the top of the marketplace through constant innovation.

While its focus has remained records retrieval, Keais has continually sought to provide the most efficient, hassle-free service in order to remove the distraction and soft-cost burden that medical records have historically been to law firms and their clients.
“As the premier records retrieval agency in the country, Keais can obtain almost every type of record imaginable,” said Lehane.

Some of the types of records that Keais specializes in are: medical, billing, x-rays, pathology, personnel and payroll, Workers Compensation files from employers, claim files from insurance companies, telephone records (local, long distance, and mobile), bank records, pharmacy records, police records, fire records, driving records, academic records, ambulance records, and business records of any kind.

The entire records retrieval operation and customer service support team of RLS Record Retrieval Division will be moving to Keais on Friday, March 2nd, and will be up and running by Monday, March 5th.

“The addition of this team of highly qualified and experienced records retrieval personnel who have Keais’ tools and systems at their disposal will provide greater depth and strength overnight for Keais customers,” said Lehane. “We are tremendously excited about the union of these two records businesses and we look forward to providing our customers, and those we have gained from RLS, with the best service that money can buy.”
