TransUnion has extended its reach in the collections marketplace with the integration of two of its offerings into four of the industry’s top debt collection and recovery systems. Through strategic partnerships with CR Software, DAKCS, Global Software Services, Inc. (Latitude) and Ontario Systems, collection agencies now have direct access to TransUnion credit reports and the TransUnion Collection Prioritization Engine. Both offerings help collection agencies prioritize and find debtors in order to improve recovery rates. With these new agreements, access to TransUnion’s credit files is now seamless. Information in TransUnion credit reports can be helpful for locating missing debtors and gaining a complete picture of their credit profile. TransUnion Collection Prioritization Engine uses information from TransUnion credit reports to identify uncollectible accounts and rank-order them by their likelihood of being recovered. The tool includes access to key data such as address, telephone number, employment information and social security number, as well as a bankruptcy or deceased indicator, collection recovery score and predictive credit characteristics. “Key partnerships like these give TransUnion valuable new channels to reach collection agencies,” said Dan Brackle, vice president of TransUnion’s Collection Solutions. “Our industry-proven offerings expertly integrate with the overarching business objectives of the industry – realizing efficiencies in the collection process through robust and comprehensive solutions.” For more information about TransUnion’s collection solutions, contact Dan Brackle at dbrackl@transunion.com.
